Frequently asked questions...
For most immunizations it is standard practice to monitor the patient for any side effects or adverse reactions for 15 minutes following the injections. Especially for children, a wait time of 15 minutes after immunization is advisable.
Medicare covers routine immunizations. Out of pocket charges may apply for the consultation. Feel free to call and discuss this with our friendly receptionist.
Absolutely. Our GPs are experienced in giving immunizations to children. We are aware that this can spark anxiety for the carer and child, and we try our best to make it as stress free as possible.
Medicare covers the cost of routine immunizations. There are some elective immunizations which may also be subsidised by Medicare. Proof of immunization will be linked to your account once a GP or registered nurse has supplied the immunization.
